Summit Roofing was founded in 2009 by Cole Whitman after a spring hailstorm tore through his own Overland Park block and he watched neighbors get steamrolled by storm-chasers. The conviction was simple: a roof is a system, not a sales pitch — every layer matters, the homeowner should understand it, and the company that installs it should still answer the phone two storms later. Fifteen years on, Summit is a crew of certified installers, project managers, and a dedicated claims coordinator who has guided more than four thousand Kansas City roofs from free inspection to final ridge cap — and through the insurance process honestly, without ever stepping over the line into public adjusting.
