Most residential roofs are torn off and fully replaced in a single day, weather permitting. Larger or steeper roofs, metal systems, and commercial projects take longer. We’ll give you a clear timeline in your quote, and your project manager sends photo updates as we go.
Two separate things, and you want both. The manufacturer warranty (from GAF, Owens Corning, etc.) covers the shingles and materials. The workmanship warranty comes from us, the installer, and covers the installation — flashing, nailing, sealing, the things a manufacturer can’t control. Every Summit roof includes a 25-year workmanship warranty in writing, and as a Master Elite contractor we can also offer the GAF Golden Pledge®, which is non-prorated.
